We had so much fun last night...we carved our first pumpkin with Bailey....actually Bryson hasn't carved a pumpkin since he was little...and I can't remember the last time I did...so it was a lot of fun! Bryson carved the eyes and nose and I did the mouth---it was a team effort...Bailey helped Daddy clean out the pumpkin BY EATING the insides!!!! It was funny! She had fun and she was a mess to clean up! (Oh, and I tried to make the pumpkin mouth look like Bay--two bottom teeth! :))

A new series to read...

I got into all the craze out here in Utah about Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" series. . . I had read the "Harry Potter" series in August and I was extrememely surprised by how I got so involved with those books that once it was over I was sad and had nothing else to read. I tried reading old books that I have, but I wanted something new. I heard from several people that I should read the new "vampire" books as they were calling Meyer's series...I thought to myself that there was no way I would get into this one...but like "Harry Potter" I should give it a chance. I finally found a store with the book instock, bc the library has a huge waiting list, and most places are sold out...Well, I love this series. The author is a graduate from BYU, though there are only a few allusions to the religion in the book--so little in fact that had I not known she was LDS I would not have thought twice about them. I read off her website that there is interest for a movie by MTV productions...so that is exciting! I highly recommend this series...though I am only on the second book (which I have to go to Costco and buy)! She has 2 more books being released in the series..one in fall 2008 entitled Breaking Dawn, and another in the works which takes on the perspective of Edward--a re-write of the first book--Midnight Sun. Anyways...I finished the book last night and had to share! :) Funny enough Mandy has a post on the book series as well! :)

Figuring out the door

Here is my baby learning how to open and close the door...I left her in her room for a minute and she had crawled to the door looking for me and then she got distracted by playing with the door! She peered around the corner just like the 1st picture (I went and grabbed the camera) when I called her name! It was so cute!

I think Bailey is starting to look like me

So I think Bailey resembles me as a baby....I saw these pics of me on computer and I think our smiles are a lot alike...it also looks like I had blue/gray eyes when I was little...do you remember mom? She definitely does not have my hair and still pulls Bryson faces! :) What do you guys think?

To Bryson:

I didn't mean to only choose kissy pictures....but I like those wedding pictures--haven't really noticed them before....anyways...I just wanted to do a post about Bryson! He is such a great husband! He is not perfect...because nobody is...but he tries so hard to make me happy and to make our marriage as wonderful as it is! I sure love him...He is also a great father...which means the world to me...I was not sure how he would be as a Dad, because he was never one to hold babies or change diapers...still doesn't like the diaper part, but he does it...and he is a GREAT dad! Bailey and Bryson are so cute together! I am so glad that Bryson is my husband and I just wanted everyone to know that....I am just waiting for him to get home after work and school...he has been gone for 14 hours today--long day! But he is so wonderful, he won't even complain...never has complained about how hard he works...I LOVE YOU, BABE!

We went to another festival at Thanksgiving Point! Robin, Abby, Bay and I went earlier in the evening and then Brady and Bryson met us after work for FHE. It was fun...we went on a hay ride (minus the hay), a little train ride, and got to go to the petting zoo. However, we didn't get a chance to do the pony ride--bummer! We had fun though!
