Such good little passengers on the flight—they get that from me, not their Dad! I didn’t get many pics of our first day there…we didn’t do much bc we were so tired…just grabbed a bite to eat and checked into hotel.
My first sighting of the island!
We stayed in a hotel separate from Mom and Doug the first night. It was Aston’s Aloha Beach Resort.
We woke up at 4:30 am…so we had to wait for the sunrise. In fact I was showered and ready long before the sun came up. The first day was cloudy and rainy…but that was fine bc we did the food shopping and unpacking while it rained, and we headed to the South side of the island to find the sun!
First sighting of the beach…Bay ran down to it. This is Lydgate.
The hotel..our room is the second one in and from the bottom (I think).
A storm rolled in and so we had to head inside for breakfast.
We ate at the hotel and it was really yummy! Jack ate more than the adults!
Aaaah. Sweet nectar from heaven! Guava juice was a definite favorite for us all, but Jack was obsessed! :)
So yummy!
looking down on spouting horn…
spouting horn before…
and there’s a small spout
I think this is Hawaii’s state flower…could be wrong.
This is only shot of the condo I have…why do I always forget to take pics of that! But we unpacked at the condo this day.
The beach in back of the condo we stayed at with Mom and Doug…GORGEOUS!
view to the right…beach babe!
another beach babe!
Cute little sand area over by the pool…nice bc the kids could play while I swung in the hammock or sat in a beach chair, at least in theory. But they did love it and were busy with it for quite some time!
Jack swims with arm floats now! YAY, Jack!
Gma Jan and kiddos—they have such a fun Gma!
That was just the beginning of a great week in paradise….more pictures to come! I took close to 600! But I won’t post them all! haha.
