My Grandma passed away today Feb 28, 2012 at about 2:40 pm. I wanted to post some of my favorite pics of her and the moments and memories we shared.
I love this picture of my grandma. She looks so beautiful. She always had this umbrella in the sun bc of her sensitive skin.
I can’t help but think this is how my grandparents look now. Healthy and gorgeous. I bet their reunion was so sweet.
One of my favorite pics in front of their home.
Then there are the pics of the Grandma I grew up with and adored. She was always so fun and I have always had such a strong bond with her. When we moved from UT to FL I would cry and cry for Grandma Nuttall. She always called me Emmy and even her friends here in the neighborhood call me that bc that is what she named me.

| This was taken during my college days. I loved visiting them when I went to BYU in Provo. We talked a lot about family history and their parents and even WWII. It was awesome. |

| Holding hands after all those years. |
In the hospital when Bay was born.
They came to visit me in PG pretty often before I felt well enough to come visit them…and we made a weekly habit of it.
Our first 4 generations picture on Bailey’s blessing day.
I have sooo many memories of laughing so hard with my grandparents and sitting on the back deck eating ice cream or the kids loving over the dog (Maggie and Annie). Precious.
Another 4 generations picture
Grandma was always the first one at the hospital when I had my babies. She came when I was still in labor with Bay bc she said she just couldn’t wait! :) And she and Grandpa were the first to come see Jack.
I feel lucky to have had so many visits and fun times with Grandma and Grandpa with my kids. Bailey had a special bond with Grandma! And Jack made Grandma laugh until tears. :)
Jack came with me last week to see Grandma in the hospital and he said, “I love you, too Grandma” and blew her a kiss. Bay wanted to come, too and she sent a beautiful picture she drew of Grandma and Bay with flowers all around them. She said, “Tell grandma this is for her bc I love her.” Grandma told me to “Tell Bailey thank you and I love her.”
Our last 4 generation picture and the picture she absolutely hated of herself and cut her own face out of! haha. She is notorious for cutting herself out of pictures!
This was her last birthday…it was a surprise party.
I think this is the last pic I have with Grandma. It is on Thanksgiving 2011.She did not want her picture taken.
Walking Annie with Bay.
I am going to miss my grandma so much! We have really become accustomed to our almost every week visits! But Bailey put it best when I told her Grandma passed away, “Well. . .that is good, bc she missed Grandpa a LOT and we will see her again. They are still living.”
I loved my Grandma’s sense of humor, her compassion and how she worried about everyone else. She cared more about all of us (even her dogs) than she cared about the pain she was in or the troubles she was having. Her biggest wish was to just have the family all together and connected to one another. The ward here has sent emails and love and support to me bc they all loved Grandma so much and they all have told me stories of how Grandma was there for them when their loved ones passed away or when they were ill. She was a wonderful woman! Even on her death bed in the hospital, I asked her if I could do anything else for her and she said, “Aren’t you tired?”
Grandma I love you! I am so happy for you bc I know you wanted to be with Grandpa and maybe now you will believe me when I said that he IS waiting for you and not “chasing angels,” as you had worried. :) What a happy reunion that must have been!
