Happy Easter!

I love celebrating Easter! I am thankful for my Savior and His sacrifice for all of us. I know that we will again see our family and friends who have passed away before us. I thought a lot about my grandparents this Easter and I hope they were able to somehow see all their great grandkids this Easter having fun with Easter egg hunts and the pretty Spring weather—they both enjoyed this time of year and I know they wouldn’t want to miss that. We had a good day. The kids were so excited and loved their Easter baskets. But it is always a goal of mine that they understand what this holiday is really about. I think this year Bailey really understood and when I told her the story about Mary crying outside of the Savior’s tomb and how Christ asked her “Who seekest thou?” She had a huge smile on her face bc she felt the joy that Mary must have felt in seeing Christ again in His body. It was a sweet moment to see Bailey feel a little piece of that joy. Easter is my favorite holiday! Hope you all had a great Easter as well!
